High Frequency Cable Dielectric Constant: a measure of the inductive capacity of an insulation; the higher the dielectric constant, the greater the capacitance and the greater the signal loss of a cable. Coaxial Constructions are often needed for the transmission of high frequency signals. Able has fabricated efficient, low-loss coaxial cables that are now in use in computer, radar, cellular telephone, and similar high frequency equipment.
